Interventional Radiologist

Alaska Radiology Associates is seeking a fellowship-trained Interventional Radiologist to join their well-established, multi-specialty practice in Anchorage, Alaska. Provides full-spectrum imaging and interventional services for the largest hospital in the State of Alaska. Services also extend to outpatient imaging centers in Anchorage, Eagle River, and the Mat-Su Valley. Offers sub-specialized teleradiology services throughout Alaska and onsite services in Kodiak Island. Responsibilities Provide Interventional Radiology services including Vascular, Biliary, Renal, Body, and Interventional Oncology. Perform general radiology procedures including CT and US Guided Soft Tissue Biopsy and Drains, Lumbar Puncture, Arthrogram injections, Paracentesis, and Thoracentesis. Provide Diagnostic Radiology services as assigned by the Practice. Compensation Salary: $750,000-$800,000 + $100,000 benefits package. Sign on bonus: $50,000 or fellowship stipend. Full-time option to work onsite 26 weeks/year: Salary: $500,000 + $100,000 benefits package ($600,000 total compensation). Annual discretionary bonus. Benefits Full benefits valued at over $100,000. Shift & Schedule Q3-4 Week IR with IR Call (13-17 weeks per year). Remaining work weeks a diagnostic service M-F 8a-5p, 11a-7p, or 3p-10p. No Diagnostic Radiology weekend shifts. Mix of weeks of Daytime Cath Lab IR with Overnight IR Call and General Diagnostic Radiology with hospital-based Body Procedures (biopsies / drains). No Diagnostic Radiology weekend shifts or Diagnostic Radiology Call. Requirements Fellowship trained in Interventional Radiology. Board eligible or certified by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology. CAQ Preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; focus on Radiology as a service to patients and referring providers alike.
