About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Actuarial to join their team. The successful candidate will be the primary actuarial partner to leadership, with a focus on reserving, pricing, reinsurance, catastrophe risk, and capital. This role is pivotal in building and expanding the actuarial department, and the individual will be hands-on in both pricing and reserving activities. The ideal candidate is a career ACAS or FCAS with a strong background in homeowners insurance, particularly with experience in coastal property markets. Key responsibilities include working closely with executives, boards, regulators, and auditors, as well as recruiting, developing, and leading actuarial talent. Applicants for the Vice President, Actuarial position at the company should be prepared to take on a challenging and dynamic role.
