In this role, you will perform PET/CT and nuclear medicine procedures across multiple locations, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care. Benefits Competitive Compensation: $58/hr. Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic Technology program. Licensure: NJDEP State License and CPR Certification required; ARRT(N) or NMTCB(N) Certification required; ARRT(CT) or NMTCB/CT for Fusion Modality required. Experience: A minimum of two years of experience is required. Technical requirements: May be required to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment and must be able to adhere to all department and facility safety protocols. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using PET and CT scanners to create images of the body's internal functions and structures. Prepare and administer radioactive drugs (radiopharmaceuticals) to patients according to established protocols. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning throughout all procedures. Operate imaging equipment and maintain equipment in compliance with safety protocols. Maintain equipment and radiation safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of radiopharmaceuticals. Adhere to all department and facility safety guidelines. Float between three office locations (Neptune, Tinton Falls, and Freehold) as scheduled based on daily coverage needs. Collaborate with radiologists and office staff to ensure efficient workflow and accurate imaging results.
