Emergency Medicine Physician

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for a high-volume, Level III Trauma Center in Michigan City, Indiana. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a well-supported emergency department with advanced clinical capabilities and strong team collaboration.

• 50,000 annual ED visits
• Level III Trauma Center
• 33-bed Emergency Department with 3 trauma bays
• Specialty care rooms (ENT, Orthopedics, GYN, etc.)
• 13 cardiac-monitor beds
• Scribe support provided

• 37 hours/day physician coverage
• 36 hours/day NP/PA coverage
• Flexible scheduling

• Provide emergency care including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment
• Perform procedures including moderate sedation
• Manage high patient volume in a collaborative environment
• Coordinate care with specialists and multidisciplinary teams

• High-acuity, high-volume ED
• Strong support with APP coverage and scribes
• Advanced trauma and specialty capabilities
• Open to experienced physicians and recent EM graduates

• MD/DO Emergency Medicine
• Board Certified (ABEM/AOBEM) or equivalent experience
• Active Indiana license
• Active DEA with Indiana address
• BLS certification
