Housekeeping Supervisor

The Rambler Hotel is looking to immediately hire qualified, enthusiastic, part-time Housekeeping Supervisors. Housekeeping Supervisor Position Requirements At least 3 years’ experience in a large, fast-paced hotel housekeeping environment with at least 1 year of management or supervisory experience. Effective management, leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to read and interpret documents in both English and Spanish. Flexible scheduling availability to include working Friday, Saturday, Sunday and holidays. Ability to safely lift 25 lbs or more and carry it to another location. Positive attitude, respect of others and willingness to go above and beyond for guests and fellow coworkers – We are a TEAM! Ability to perform all position responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation and be able to bend, lift, stand and walk throughout the shift. Computer literate. Must understand and use basics of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word). Experience with RoomMaster POS a plus. General Position Responsibilities Communicate effectively (verbally, in writing, electronic) to provide clear direction to housekeeping and laundry staff. Communicate effectively with guests, team members, and management. Provide staffing, training, counseling, and performance reviews for housekeeping department. Distribute and delegate workload to guarantee maximum production. Plan, organize, and monitor staff activities to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, including continuous visual inspection of rooms and public space areas such as lobby, pool, etc. Assist in conducting efficient and effective inter-departmental meetings. Ensure clean facilities throughout the hotel (including hallways and public areas). Details matter! Monitor inventory and notify management when items are low.
