What Your Day Will Entail

• Performing thorough patient assessments, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and crafting personalized care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health conditions in collaboration with physicians or independently (depending on your credentials)
• Providing education to patients and families regarding wellness, prevention, and disease management
• Prescribing treatments and medications in accordance with your practice scope

• Accurately documenting patient information in electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Background

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Your Credentials

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Minnesota
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to achieve within 90 days)
