Maintenance Technician

In this critical role, you will be the backbone of our production plant, ensuring peak operating efficiency by executing safety-focused preventive maintenance, rapid-response emergency troubleshooting, and complex component installations. salary: $83,200 - $104,000 per year

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Safety: Strictly adhere to all safety rules, plant practices, and lockout/tagout protocols.

• Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine PMs, including lubrication, measuring wear, adjusting alignments, and monitoring machine vibration/noise.

• Emergency Repairs: Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical breakdowns during active production.

• Electrical & Automation: Install conduit/wire. Replace motors, relays, switches, and proximity/photo sensors. Diagnose AC/DC drives and circuit boards. Read schematics and PLC ladder logic.

• Fluid Power: Repair and replace components in pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam systems.

• Admin & Housekeeping: Maintain clean work areas and complete accurate maintenance logs.

Qualifications:

• Proven multi-craft background in industrial electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.

• Able to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and blueprints.

• Proficient with multimeters and precision measuring tools.

• Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 7 hours at one time
• working up to 6 hrs of overtime per week
• working weekends
