- Install, service, troubleshoot, and inspect commercial fire alarm systems.
- Install, terminate, and test fire alarm cabling and devices.
- Mount and install smoke detectors, heat detectors, pull stations, horn/strobes, control panels, and other fire alarm equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and fire alarm plans.
- Perform system testing, inspections, and troubleshooting to ensure proper operation.
- Maintain code-compliant installations in accordance with NFPA and local codes.
- Complete service documentation and inspection reports.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
- Communicate effectively with customers, project managers, and team members.
- 2+ years of commercial fire alarm installation and/or service experience.
- Experience with fire alarm systems such as Notifier, Fire-Lite, Silent Knight, Siemens, EST, Edwards, or similar.
- Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
- Knowledge of NFPA 72 and commercial fire alarm installation practices.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and troubleshooting devices.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Texas Fire Alarm License (FAL) preferred but not required.
- Competitive pay: $28 $30/hour
