• Set-up and break-down of machining centers as well as scheduling PM and cleaning
• Knowledge of trouble shooting machines
• Create schedules for machining centers based on production schedule
• Train and oversee machine operators
• Must be familiar with steel and aluminum
• Work on other shop equipment such as manual mills, press-brake, saws, lathe, drills, etc.
• Draw, read and interpret prints, plans, sketches, and shop drawings.
• Work with designers and management to achieve customers' satisfaction.
• Maintain a high level of production while maintaining quality
• Responding to quick turnaround orders; Some overtime required
• Performing well in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
• Maintain clean equipment and work area
• Forklift certified preferred
• Perform related duties, as assigned Minimum Acceptable Qualifications: • Trade school graduate, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of programming experience with CNC Vertical Machining Centers
• Knowledge of Auto CAD, Solidworks and MasterCam
• Knowledge of wood & Plexiglas a plus
• Strong knowledge of shop practices and skill in using shop tools and equipment.
• Ability to ACCURATELY read tape measure & blueprints and translate into fabricated products using fractions & decimal places
• Experience with Laminates and veneers a plus
• Must have reliable transportation
