Lead Generative AI / Agentic AI Engineer

Salary: $145,600 - 156,000 per year Requirements:

• At least 5 years of software engineering experience, or equivalent experience gained through work, consulting, training, military service, or education.
• 7+ years of experience developing enterprise web applications.
• Strong skills in Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, Next.js, Tailwind, and Bootstrap.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience building Generative AI applications.
• Experience with ADK, OpenAI Agent Frameworks, LangChain, LangGraph, or similar technologies.
• At least 5 years designing and building scalable, secure, high-performance enterprise applications.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work in a fast-paced environment, and deliver results with minimal oversight.
• Preferred: At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms and AI solution deployment.
• Preferred: Experience with cloud-native architectures, CI/CD, and enterprise integration patterns.

• Build and enhance multi-agent AI orchestration platforms and automation frameworks.
• Develop enterprise-grade full-stack applications for AI-powered experiences.
• Design and implement Generative AI solutions using modern agent frameworks.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, engineering, and client teams to deliver AI capabilities and consult on strategic initiatives.
• Assess complex, large-scale Software Engineering challenges and contribute to resolving situations involving functional policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Promote technical excellence, scalability, security, and performance across solutions.
• Rapidly prototype and deploy AI solutions that improve productivity and efficiency.

We are recruiting for a contingent AI Engineer contract role in Columbus, Ohio; this is a W-2 contract position. The assignment supports complex Software Engineering initiatives involving broad impact and large-scale planning. PTR Global provides information technology and workforce solutions, with more than 5,000 professionals serving clients across the U.S. and Canada. The pay range is $70–$75 per hour on W-2, with compensation determined by role scope, complexity, location, market labor costs, and the candidates qualifications and experience.
