Program Lead

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Program Lead to join their team. As a Program Lead, you will be part of the IT department supporting strategic technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Program Lead (Hadoop or Cloud Migration) Location: Jersey City, NJ Pay Range: 78/hr What's the Job? Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology programs within the financial markets sector. Manage program financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning. Coordinate across business, technology, and control teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment. Oversee program governance, including reporting, status updates, and regulatory compliance. Translate business requirements into technical solutions, partnering with developers and architects. What's Needed? Proven experience in the financial services industry, with knowledge of global markets and products such as equities, FX, and derivatives. Good experience with Hadoop or AWS cloud migration. Experience delivering programs using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies. Ability to work with data environments, including ETL processes, database structures, and Big Data platforms.
