Bilingual HR SpecialistLocation: Webster, TXEmployment Type: Contract-to-HirePay: $28.00-$36.00/hour DOESchedule: M-F (8-5:00pm)Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssist with processing multi-state bi-weekly payrollMaintain certified payroll job details and update data in ADPCreate and submit all certified payroll job reports to required entitiesResearch certified payroll documents to ensure prevailing wage rates and benefits are applied appropriatelyEnsure timely and accurate payroll general ledger reporting to meet the requirements of chart of accountsResponsible for documenting, monitoring, and resolving state/local tax noticesResearch and remain current with tax compliance laws and regulations, provide payroll tax changes awareness, and provide recommendations for changesReview and confirm timely accurate tax deposits and filings, Quarterly and Annual reconciliations, and all other tax reporting requirementsManage quarter end and year end reporting and processingMaintain Payroll SOP and ensure payroll processes are up to dateAdminister benefits, conduct benefit orientations, and reconcile billsManage and assist Managers through the entire recruitment process, create position descriptions and postings, enter requisitions, post jobs, review resumes/applications, create offer letters, conduct pre-employment screening, conduct new hire orientationHandle Onboarding, Off-boarding, VOE, Unemployment claims, Worker's Comp, claims, FMLA, Background Screening, Drug testing, I-9s, COBRA, Job Descriptions, Engagement, and all other HR functionsCreate and maintain various spreadsheets and reportsRespond to employee questions regarding benefits, payroll, policies, and other HR related inquiries in a timely mannerAssist Managers with disciplinary actions, performance management, and other HR functionsMaintain compliance with all Federal, State, and Local laws and regulationsAssist Director of People & Culture as neededOther duties as assigned by managementRequirementsBilingual English/Spanish3-5+ years HR experienceADPPayroll experience (will be supporting)Benefits experienceAble to work in fast paced demanding environment.Comes from an HR role in a corporate setting/headquarters location, preferredAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
