Senior Clinical Research Associate

Senior Clinical Research Associate for oncology trials at a large contract research organization. Conducts clinical trial monitoring across East Coast sites, ensuring regulatory compliance and data integrity while managing site relationships and escalating issues independently.
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor clinical trials; ensure sponsor, investigator, and regulatory compliance
- Assess site qualifications, conduct trial startup activities, and manage site closure procedures
- Review and verify accuracy of clinical trial data collected onsite or remotely
- Verify serious adverse event reporting and investigational product accountability at sites
- Lead observation and performance visits; serve as subject matter expert on monitoring activities
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in clinical, science, or health-related field; or licensed healthcare professional
- 5+ years clinical monitoring experience as Senior CRA for sponsor
- Oncology Phase II/III monitoring experience required
- Knowledge of ICH and local regulatory authority drug regulations
- Feasibility, site selection, and site startup experience
- Fluent English reading, writing, and speaking ability
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
Compensation: $110,520–$138,150 base
