Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a 12-hour day shift position requiring recent specialty experience and AWHONN certification.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit (670) within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes pregnancy, preeclampsia, diabetes, and preterm labor cases
• Schedule varies between 7a-7p, 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
• No on-call requirements
• Cerner EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Labor & Delivery
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NRP, and AWHONN

Additional Information

• Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Does not accept local candidates within 50 miles of the facility
• Returning perm staff must have a 2-year break before returning as a traveler
• RTO must be requested upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is made
