We are currently seeking a Pharmacy Operations Supervisor who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community.

Pharmacy Supervisor position details:

• Facility: St. Joseph's Children's and Women's Hospital
• Location: Tampa, FL
• Status: Full time, exempt
• Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
• Weekend Work: None
• On Call: Yes
• Remote work: None

Pharmacy Supervisor Responsibilities :

• Assist the Pharmacy Manager in overseeing applicable pharmacy department operations and supporting team members.
• Oversight of pharmacy dispensing processes, operational technology, rules and regulations compliance, recruitment, staffing supervision, orientation, performance reviews, disciplinary action, as well as policy implementation and compliance.
• Work closely with the Pharmacy Manager(s) and Director(s) to improve the overall efficiency and quality of services provided.
• Represent the pharmacy on hospital committees, be assigned direct reports as applicable, and assigned other duties to best assist the Pharmacy Manager in achieving key results for the department.

Certifications and Licensure:

• Required: Licensed as a Pharmacist in the state of Florida
• Preferred: Completion of an ASHP Accredited Pharmacy Residency

Requirements:

• Doctorate Pharmacy Degree (PharmD) preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of coordinator, lead or equivalent experience in a hospital or health system
• 3 years preferred
