Position Title: Technical Director Bring technical precision and creative vision to live events built to make an impact. We are seeking an experienced Technical Director to lead the technical execution of sophisticated corporate, technology, investor, and high-end live events ranging from large six-figure productions to multimillion-dollar projects. This role will oversee production schedules, technical specifications, equipment sourcing, vendors, budgets, and cross-functional coordination while serving as a confident technical partner to clients. The ideal candidate is a technically driven live-events professional who understands how to turn ambitious creative concepts into flawless productions. They are collaborative, highly organized, comfortable working under pressure, and passionate about the technical craft behind exceptional live experiences. Salary Range: $95,000-$125,000 / Year, DOE + Overtime Responsibilities

- Lead the technical planning and execution of large-scale live events, including corporate meetings, technology events, investor meetings, and high-end social productions
- Develop and oversee production schedules, technical specifications, drawings and execution plans
- Translate creative concepts into technically sound, scalable, and cost-effective production solutions
- Coordinate vendors, equipment sourcing, logistics and technical resources from pre-production through event completion
- Manage production budgets while maintaining exceptional quality, safety and audience experience standards
- Utilize Vectorworks and other production tools to create, review, and communicate technical plans
- Partner closely with clients and internal teams to confidently address technical requirements, challenges, and production decisions
- Collaborate across departments to ensure every element of an event is aligned and delivered successfully
- 8+ years of experience in technical direction, live event production, theatrical production, or a closely related environment
- Strong technical expertise with technical direction serving as the foundation of your experience
- Required proficiency with Vectorworks
- Bachelor's degree required, ideally in Theatrical Design, Production Design, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience managing production schedules, technical specifications, vendors, equipment, and budgets
- Experience supporting sophisticated, large-scale events with significant technical and creative requirements
- Strong client-facing communication skills with the confidence to provide technical guidance and build trust
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach with respect for experienced colleagues and an openness to different perspectives
- Ability to remain composed, organized, and solutions-focused during long, fast-paced production days
- Flexibility to work hours dictated by live event and project schedules
