Occupational Therapist

Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36.00

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) or foreign equivalent.
• Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor.
• At least two years of experience in occupational therapy is preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct segments of treatment programs to restore and improve physical, social, and mental functions.
• Serve as a co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient groups.
• Complete evaluations to ensure quality standards and address assessment areas that require attention.
• Use appropriate clinical techniques and tools to establish individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Provide therapy interventions using suitable treatment protocols and techniques.
• Establish care and discharge plans, ensuring effective communication to appropriate parties.
