About the Role As a Registered Nurse ECMO Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in life-saving interventions, utilizing the bypass machine in critical situations to support pediatric patients. We offer full relocation for candidates that are outside of the Houston area.

What You'll Do

Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care through comprehensive assessments, treatments, and education.
Operate as a key member of a specialized ECMO team in emergent, high-acuity settings.
Collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary team to develop treatment and discharge plans.
Assist in clinical decision-making, continuous process improvement, and patient advocacy.
Ensure adherence to all hospital policies and Texas Board of Nursing standards.
Serve as a mentor, preceptor, and resource to less experienced staff helping grow the next generation of exceptional care providers.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; BSN preferred.
Active Texas RN license or compact license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certifications may be required per unit.
Experience in high-acuity, pediatric, or ECMO settings strongly preferred.
A deep commitment to excellence, compassion, and team-based care.
