The Learning Experience is hiring at our Massapequa, NY, centers! We are currently hiring fun, bright, loving Lead & Assistant Toddler teachers to educate and care for children in our T oddler room. You will have the opportunity to impact the lives of the children in their care. Teachers are responsible for ensuring a clean, friendly, welcoming environment; ensuring the implementation of proprietary curriculum; ensuring the health and safety of the children in their care as well as effective communication with the children’s parents.

Must be available Monday through Friday, full-time.
Lead Teacher: $19-$22/hr
Assistant Teacher: $17.50-$18.50/hr

Requirements:

· Lead: Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, or CDA with New York State requirements

· Assistant: Minimum of a high school diploma, CDA preferred. Must have experience caring for toddler-age children

· 1-5 years of childcare experience

· Satisfy the mandatory physical and background checks as required by state and company regulations. CPR

· Be of sufficient physical, mental, and emotional health to perform job duties satisfactorily

· Possess skills, attributes and characteristics conducive to and suitable for dealing with children

· Must speak English well enough to communicate with children, staff, management, and parents

· Must be a team player and have a positive attitude

· Must be able to read and write English well enough to prepare, complete, and maintain administrative forms and records as required by current governmental regulations, company policies, and procedures.

· Knowledge of child growth and development

· Willing to attend staff/parent events and complete training classes as required by state regulations

· Must be aware of and comply with state regulations as well as TLE policies

· Light cleaning, maintaining classroom
