Overview The Head Manager is responsible for managing staff and all aspects of store operations to achieve company objectives and sales goals. Responsibilities Communicate store operational goals and directives to maximize team contributions toward meeting the sales plan. Create schedules, manage operational tasks, visual merchandising, and ensure processes are completed within specified timelines. Maintain payroll budget while upholding high customer expectations. Partner with the District Manager and Human Resources on associate relations, including termination when warranted. Participate in store meetings and conference calls to encourage innovative thinking and business improvement. Build a strong team that delivers sales and profit results. Lead with integrity to foster a performance‑driven culture. Motivate team members, providing timely feedback and evaluations on productivity goals. Identify and develop team members’ skills through coaching and consistent development activities. Handle performance issues constructively to promote growth and development. Spot succession opportunities and work with associates to prepare them for advancement. Key Partners Store Management Human Resources District Manager Asset Protection Qualifications At least 18 years of age. Minimum 2 years of retail management experience. High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus but not required. Ability to respond to in‑store alarm situations as required. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Strong drive to achieve results. Initiative and problem‑solving skills. Capability to stand for long periods during shifts. Physical ability to lift 15‑30 pounds.
