Samaritan's Purse is looking for an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to serve with the ministry of Operation Christmas Child (OCC) at our Charlotte, NC location. Join our outstanding team and help fulfill our mission of taking good news of great joy to children all around the world!

A day in the life of a Warehouse Coordinator:

In the role of Warehouse Coordinator , you will have the opportunity to:

• Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
• Manage the OCC Collection Center including the reception of OCC shoebox gifts and other donated items
• Receive and process gift-in-kind donations
• Serve in a management position during OCC processing season (Nov-Dec)
• Serve as an OCC Vision Trip Assistant Captain
• Assist with the process of updating and revising processing center procedural guidebooks
• Manage the inventory and maintenance of processing center kits
• Create and update processing center maps, equipment designs, and floor diagrams
• Ship supplies to OCC conferences, field offices, and ministry centers
• Facilitate all shipping and receiving projects for OCC processing season
• Lead the organization of OCC warehouse materials and gift-in-kind donations
• Lead the set-up and tear-down of the OCC processing center
• Schedule, manage and report on the progress of OCC volunteer projects in preparation for OCC processing season
• Work with Human Resources to schedule associate warehouse staff
• Assist in maintaining the safety, cleanliness, and organization of the warehouse
• Manage vendor relationships regarding equipment design, procurement, and storage
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience :

• Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and two years related experience and/or training or four years of experience leading high functioning teams to meet time sensitive service levels; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Requires a current forklift operators certification or the ability to undergo the necessary training and receive one in the first six months of employment

Language Requirement: Fluency in English (required)


Travel Expectations: A pproximately 10-20 days annually . Maintaining required travel documents and vaccinations for entry into foreign countries will be necessary.
