Senior Accountant - Real Estate

Real Estate Investment Manager
Oversee daily activities for real estate investments
Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual reporting obligations
Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports for investment entities
Read/administer leases to ensure complete and accurate info is entered
Develop and maintain balance sheet reconciliations for GL accounts
Prepare and issue tenant billings and reconcile tenant ledgers
Oversee and verify tenant bill backs
Complete year end tenant reconciliations; process tenant cash receipts
Oversee and assist with AP – coding, internal processing, and AR – collections
Oversee preparation of annual property budget
Complete monthly bank reconciliations
Assist in annual property tax protest process and annual insurance renewal process
Prepare construction draws for funding submission; complete payment process subsequent to funding
Correspond directly with institutional investors and onsite property management staff
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and commercial real estate experience REQUIRED
1-5 years accountant experience
Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, PP and Outlook; Yardi HIGHLY PREFERRED
Team player, strong character and ethics, punctual, dependable, and flexible, quick learner
Maintain confidentiality, multi-task, follow-through, strong judgement
Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
