$20 - $25 per hour | Albuquerque, NM | On-Site | Consulting Accounts Receivable Specialist We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing team. As an integral part of our Accounting and Finance team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts receivable, including collections, and ensuring timely and accurate payment processing. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for problem-solving. With your 5+ years of experience, you will be expected to consult, strategize, and improve our accounts receivable process. Job Details Responsibilities Oversee all accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, cash receipts, and collections. Develop and implement strategies to increase the number of on-time payments. Regularly review aging reports, follow up on delinquent accounts, and execute collections activities. Maintain accurate records of all accounts receivable transactions. Collaborate with the sales and customer service departments to resolve billing issues. Prepare and present reports on the status of accounts and outstanding balances. Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance. Provide expert advice and guidance to the team on all matters related to accounts receivable. Continually assess and improve accounts receivable processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audits as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, with a focus on collections. Proven track record of successfully managing collections and reducing delinquent accounts. Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable procedures. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze large amounts of data and identify trends. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a customer service focus. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
