Job description:Accounting Assistant Location: Albuquerque, NM Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Parking: Employee-paid parking required Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support daily accounting and administrative operations. This position is responsible for processing payments, maintaining financial records, assisting with accounting transactions, preparing reports, and providing general office support. Responsibilities Receive, sort, and enter payment information into the accounting system. Verify dollar amounts, vendor names, and addresses. Prepare bank deposits and maintain accurate records. Maintain inventory of purchased supplies and track distribution transactions. Prepare and update financial spreadsheets, reports, and databases. Maintain files and records according to retention requirements. Assist with posting financial data to ledgers, journals, registers,… #J-18808-Ljbffr
