Accounting Clerk

Accounting Clerk $20 - $24 per hour | Albuquerque, NM | On-site | Permanent Job Details Responsibilities: Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries, and reconciling books of accounts. Completing financial reports on a regular basis and providing information to the finance team. Assisting with budget control by monitoring budgets and comparing them with actual expenses. Preparing and submitting weekly/monthly reports, assisting in financial audits, and managing financial documentation. Assisting with the preparation of monthly/yearly closings. Collaborating with the rest of the accounting department to improve financial procedures. Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of experience in the accounting field, preferably within the construction industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other accounting software. Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Excellent mathematical skills and an understanding of data privacy standards. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
