Administrative Assistant - Commercial Laundry Plant

Core Linen Services is a leader in hospital and hospitality laundry processing services around the country. Summary:  Performs a variety of clerical duties, entering customer orders, answering telephones, assisting with employee on-boarding, assisting customers via phone or email, office machine operation, filing, and other assigned office duties.

 

Prior office experience and MS Office experience, a plus. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

• Enter daily customer orders and print production tickets and reports.
• Check daily customer delivery tickets for accuracy and make corrections, as needed.
• Provide assistance with new hire on-boarding.
• Answers telephones, directs calls, and assists with delivery personnel inquiries.
• Uses MS Office to perform duties.
• Assist with AR collections.
• Compiles, copies, sorts and files records of office activities and requirements.
• Operates office machines, such as copiers, scanners, and computers.
• Types, formats, proofreads and edits correspondence, reports and other documents.
• Reviews files, records and other documents to obtain information to respond to requests.
• Processes and prepares documents.
• Communicates with customers, employees and others to answer questions; disseminates or explains information; and address complaints.
• Troubleshoots problems from customer emails.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
