Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Current Michigan SLP license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred, though Clinical Fellows (CF) are welcome
• Experience or interest in working with elementary-aged students (K-5)
• Comfort collaborating in diverse instructional settings such as resource rooms, CI-Resource rooms, and ASD rooms
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience in schools is a plus, but not required

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive speech-language services in accordance with each student’s IEP
• Screen, assess, and document progress for students across both K-2 and 3-5 campuses
• Provide direct therapy to individuals and small groups in resource rooms and specialized classrooms
• Work closely with teachers, special educators, and other school professionals to support student achievement
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
• Offer consultative support to faculty and families
