Step into an important role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2024/2025 school year. This contract opportunity is available for both full-time and part-time schedules near the Detroit, MI area. The work centers on helping students meet their communication goals in a supportive and collaborative educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active licensure in Michigan as an SLP
• Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to tailor interventions to individual student needs
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and document progress
• Provide direct and consultative speech and language services to students
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all regulatory requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Adapt therapy approaches to address a diverse range of needs and backgrounds
