Manufacturing Technician NightsGeorgia-Pacific in Bowling Green has been proudly making Dixie® paper plates and bowls since 1993. A work-life balance is critically important for our Bowling Green team. That is why our team members are hourly non-exempt and work on an attractive 12-hour schedule. They work 36 hours one week and get paid for 40 hours. The following week they work 48 hours and are paid for 8 hours of overtime! All team members have the opportunity to learn new skills and advance in their positions.Night shift is 6:30pm-7:00am. Pay rate is $23.11 per hour + $2.00 per hour shift differential for the NIGHT SHIFT ONLY.What You Will Do:Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targetsMonitor and/or entry into computer control systemsTroubleshoot equipment to optimize productionPerform basic asset care duties to include routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of work areaWork as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goalsOperate and/or work around mobile equipmentMaintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipmentPerform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve-12 hours a day, in a loud/noisy, and industrial, high-volume environmentOccasionally lifting boxes that weigh 60-80lbs to shoulder heightWork with changeovers and setting up equipmentWho You Are (Basic Qualifications):Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, agricultural, or military environment OR completion of post high school education in a manufacturing/industrial centered programA minimum of six months of experience operating and maintaining machinesHigh school diploma or GEDWhat Will Put You Ahead:Experience using SAPExperience troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipmentExperience working with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, or electrical skills in an industrial environmentExperience using a computer, tablet, or smart deviceAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
