Purpose The Latitude Margaritaville at Watersound Compliance Coordinator is a key advisor to the General Manager. The role creates value for the Association by conducting regular inspections within the community for compliance to the Association’s Governing Documents and adopted policies & procedures and makes recommendations to the General Manager and Board of Directors for compliance actions and improvements. Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities Operations and Compliance Management Conduct regular inspections of home lots and homes for compliance with Association governing documents, adopted Association policies, and proper completion of approved ACC decisions. Assist General Manager to meet with homeowners to educate them on the importance of compliance, provide helpful solutions to meet requirements, and address concerns of corrective actions taken. Review Association licensure, permits, and other regulatory requirements for compliance. Conduct inspections of Association property and facilities as well as all other on-site facilities to ensure compliance to community standards. Recommend violation actions that may arise from damage to Association Property or violation of governing documents or adopted policies. Perform any other tasks as may be assigned by the General Manager and the Community Association Manager. Administrative Prepare and complete regular reports of the inspection and compliance process and provide reports to the General Manager and Board of Directors with suggestions for improvement Prepare documentation of violations for Board/Committee Member deliberations. Meet regularly with the Architectural Control Committee to review applications for accuracy, recording, application decisions, and communicating results of the decision to the homeowner. Monitor and record the collection of fines imposed as a penalty. Use Restriction Compliance Update Use Restriction lists and notify other staff members of any use restrictions resulting from penalty. Review and report all breaches of the Use Restriction penalty to the General Manager. Education/Training Technical competencies Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience/Knowledge/Abilities Demonstrated experience in successful personal service delivery in a customer facing environment. Demonstrated experience evaluating compliance variances to standards and policies in a practical environment where ambiguity may exist. Demonstrated mastery of business and interpersonal communication practices Computer Literacy Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) Special Requirements Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Standing, sitting, walking and occasional climbing Required to work at a personal computer for extended periods of time Talking on the phone for extended periods of time Required to provide valid driver’s license – driving daily will be required. Compensation/Work Schedule $23.00 per hour Full-Time Monday - Friday, evening & weekend availability
