Respiratory Therapy Supervisor (Adults) - FT - Nights - MRH

Opportunities exist for motivated Registered Respiratory Therapists (and Certified Respiratory Therapy Technicians) with the skills to provide a high level of quality service in a variety of settings including the ED, Trauma and Critical Care. Summary Supervises daily staff activities for Cardiopulmonary services. Shift Details 3 - 12 hour shifts; flexible schedule; weekends on rotation, as needed. Responsibilities Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels. Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints. Assesses quality of services delivered and facilitates staff development programs. Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures and protocols. Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff. Assists with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions. Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and levels. National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) is preferred. Department Specific Credentials: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) for NICU, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) for Pediatric areas, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) for Adult areas.
