Corporate Associate Attorney – Boston, MA Competitive pay: $140,000 – $225,000 per year. Base salary plus significant annual bonus opportunity (30‑75k+). Target 1,800 billable hours. The practice is collaborative, allowing attorneys to work across multiple industries and client types rather than becoming siloed into a narrow specialty. Role Overview Four to eight years of experience in corporate transactions with a strong transactional foundation. Drafting and negotiation of transaction documents, purchase agreements, operating agreements, commercial contracts, and management of transaction workflows. Exposure to M&A, private equity, emerging company representation, closely held business counseling, and general corporate matters. Responsibilities Draft and negotiate transaction documents, purchase agreements, operating agreements and commercial contracts. Assist with mergers, acquisitions and other strategic transactions. Conduct due diligence and manage transaction workflows. Advise closely held businesses on corporate governance and operational matters. Support private equity, startup and emerging growth company clients. Collaborate directly with partners and clients on sophisticated transactional matters. Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school. 4–8 years of corporate transactional experience. Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical skills. Experience with M&A transactions strongly preferred. Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously. Massachusetts Bar admission. Benefits Competitive compensation package.
