Structural Engineer

Audubon is currently seeking a Sr. Structural Engineer to join their growing team. In this role you will perform structural engineering assignments associated with designing equipment, components, structures or systems on LNG projects. Responsibilities Reviews and provides direction for the development of structural designs, facility layouts, 3D models, project datasheets and project specifications. Assists in keeping multiple internal and external teams/contractors on task. Ensures that design document reviews are completed accurately and within the required timeframe, inclusive of checking activities. Continuously monitors the contractor’s performance and compliance with project technical requirements. Participates in key design reviews and ensures design review readiness. Monitors changes against baseline scope. Coordinating answers to technical and commercial queries from client and contractors. Responsible for maintaining technical integrity of the engineering and design for the facility. Completes project tasks independently. Identifies technical and commercial issues and is able to solve the issues independently or in a team to maintain schedule, budget and quality. Reviews or creates meeting minutes from project meetings. Responsible for input to project reporting. Promotes values and ideals of the company. Facilitates internal and external project meetings. Demonstrates exemplary communication and organizational skills. Coordinates MOC efforts. Develops/adjusts project support team level workflow processes. Facilitates multidisciplinary communication. Resolves audit deficiencies. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Civil/Structural Engineering preferred. P.E. preferred. PMP preferred. 5-15 years of experience. Experience with engineering software such as STAAD.Pro, SACS, ANSYS, RISA, RAM Connection, Mat3D and foundation 3D. Familiar with AutoCAD. Concrete experience preferred.
