Senior Software Engineer
$130kFull-time
Business Centric Technology
We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer (Azure) to be our client's hands-on technical lead for a modern Azure and .NET platform - designing, building, and owning production systems, not just coordinating them. This can be a direct-hire OR 1-year contract position in Irving, TX, with 4 days on-site and Fridays remote.
COMPENSATION: $130,000+ range (Direct-Hire) / $65-75 per hour (Contract)
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Design and build cloud-native APIs, microservices, and integrations using C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core
- Own Azure architecture and engineering standards, with hands-on depth in Event Hubs, Logic Apps, Data Factory, and Cosmos DB
- Lead disaster-recovery strategy, production observability, and incident response as the team's go-to technical resource
- Mentor engineers through design and code reviews, and drive adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with strong depth in C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core & Azure
- Proven, end-to-end ownership of production Azure solutions, from architecture through deployment & support
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience working with Cosmos DB in production required for direct-hire; preferred for contract
- Azure Developer Associate or Solutions Architect Expert certification is a plus
