The Greens at Hendersonville is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Wound Nurse to join our clinical team. This is a great opportunity for an RN with a strong long-term care or skilled nursing background who is passionate about wound care, resident outcomes, and supporting quality clinical care.

As the RN Wound Nurse , you will play an important role in assessing, treating, documenting, and monitoring wounds while working closely with the Director of Nursing, interdisciplinary team, physicians, and nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, monitor, and document wounds, skin concerns, and treatment progress

• Develop and implement wound care treatment plans in coordination with providers and the care team

• Perform wound treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols

• Monitor residents for changes in condition and communicate updates timely

• Educate and support nursing staff on wound prevention, skin care, and proper documentation

• Participate in care planning, quality initiatives, and survey readiness efforts

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policy and regulatory guidelines

Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in North Carolina

• Wound care experience preferred

• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience strongly preferred

• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams

• Dependable, compassionate, and resident-focused
