Accounts Receivable Analyst

Accounts Receivable Analyst Location: US-MA-Boston Job ID: 2026-7428 Type: Regular Full-Time # of Openings: 1 Category: FINANCE Remote: United States Responsibilities Analyze, monitor, and maintain an assigned customer account portfolio. Provide customers with account reporting, invoices, and statements to support timely payment. Review account balances after payments are applied and generate necessary adjustments, overpayment notifications, refund requests, and secondary billing as needed. Notify the Senior Manager of any potential loss and recommend account adjustments or balances for write-off to senior management. Reduce delinquency for assigned accounts. Discuss transactions with customers and provide research and reconciliation as required. Enlist the efforts of Sales and senior management when necessary to accelerate the collection process. Resolve customer credit requests, short payments, and account discrepancies. Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate payment on customer accounts. Respond promptly to correspondence and internal and external customer needs. Prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Maintain accurate, organized, and detailed account records. Apply strong analytical and decision-making skills to account issues. Demonstrate a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and accountability. Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards. Demonstrated comfort with adopting emerging AI tools and technologies to optimize processes, improve collaboration, and drive operational effectiveness. Qualifications Associate's Degree (AA) in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance or comparable experience Preferred Experience analyzing, monitoring, and maintaining customer account portfolios. Experience reviewing account balances, payments, adjustments, refunds, and billing activity. Experience researching and resolving short payments, credit requests, and account discrepancies. Experience communicating with customers and internal teams to support timely collections. Strong written and oral communication skills. Excellent customer service skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office. Ability to work independently and with team members across the department and company. Strong analytical and decision-making skills. Ability to research and reconcile customer account transactions. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and accountability. Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
