About Ross Downing Chevrolet Ross Downing Chevrolet is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Parts Counter Person to join our professional service team in Hammond, LA. Job Details Salary: Competitive salary (details to be provided) Job Type: Full Time Location: Hammond, LA (in-person) Key Responsibilities Order, receive, and bill all parts accurately Maintain proper storage and organize parts inventory Stock shelves and assist with inventory management through bin counts and record keeping Provide excellent customer service to retail customers and technicians, including answering phones Handle parts pick-up and delivery as needed Keep the parts department and work area orderly, neat, and clean Perform other duties as assigned by management Work Hours Flexible schedule including some evenings and Saturdays. Job Requirement:Qualifications One to two years of automotive parts experience in a retail parts outlet or dealership setting Customer-oriented and self-motivated team player Computer literate with the ability to manage inventory systems High School Diploma or GED required Valid driver's license with a clean or minimal points driving record Availability to work flexible hours including some evenings and Saturdays
