In this role, you’ll serve as a trusted client partner, supporting project delivery, coordinating resources, managing schedules and budgets while helping clients navigate the technical, financial, and logistical needs that drive successful outcomes.What You'll Do:Manage cities, towns, and higher education capital projects from kickoff through closeout, ensuring project goals, schedules, budgets, and quality expectations are achievedServe as a trusted client partner and consultant, proactively addressing technical, financial, and logistical project needsDevelop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and Work Breakdown Structures in collaboration with technical teamsCoordinate contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and project documentation while maintaining accurate project recordsManage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue, cash flow, and subcontractor billingsLead project meetings and provide clear progress updates to clients, management, and project teamsImplement project controls, quality management processes, and health and safety plans to support successful project deliverySupport proposal development and collaborate with internal teams to help secure and grow project opportunitiesWhat You Bring:Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, science, planning, engineering management, or a related field required; or equivalent combination of experience and licensureMinimum of 7 years of construction industry experience required, including 4 years of project management experience Expert knowledge of project engineering and/or construction principles and project schedulingDemonstrated success building and managing client relationships and interpreting contract requirementsExperience preparing proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations, and closeout documentationProven experience managing project budgets, forecasts, and cash flowAbility to effectively manage multiple projects while driving initiatives to successful completionExcellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and relationship-building skillsExperience with Microsoft Office Suite required; MS Project, Primavera P6, and/or Deltek Vision experience preferredAbility to travel as needed requiredExperience with MSBA, MBTA or public safety is preferredConsulting industry experience highly preferredProfessional licensure preferredWhy You'll Love It Here:Deliver meaningful projects that strengthen communities and support critical infrastructure investmentsCollaborate with experienced professionals in a culture that values technical excellence, client service, and teamworkGain exposure to diverse capital projects while expanding your project management and leadership skillsCurious about the impactful work our PMCM team is doing?
