Join a supportive care team at Specialists One Day Surgery Center in Syracuse, NY! Specialists' One-Day Surgery Center is a locally owned, state of the art orthopedic ambulatory surgery center that provides a range of procedures including knee arthroscopy, lumbar and cervical injections, carpal tunnel release, shoulder arthroscopy, rotator cuff repair and joint replacement. Specialists' One-Day Surgery Center offers a collegial, team oriented environment and a quick and streamlined credentialing process.

Case Assignments: Ortho Shifts weekdays only, 10-hour shifts. No weekends or call required!

Team Leadership: Dr. Simon Yu, Chief Anesthesiologist

Staff members work in a care-team model.

Responsibilities:

• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Requirements:

• Current license as a registered professional nurse
• Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists

Total Rewards:

• Salary: $295K
