Snapshot / Role Overview

We're seeking a Building Automation Controls Sales Executive in the Sacramento area to grow revenue by developing and managing key accounts in the commercial building automation market.

Impact

Open new business with mechanical contractors, general contractors, and owners across the region.
Build relationships that bring repeat work and referrals.
Expand the company's presence in controls.

Responsibilities

Execute sales strategies to win new customers and grow existing accounts.
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation.
Estimate controls projects and prepare accurate proposals.
Build relationships with contractors, facility managers, and owners.
Visit sites to assess needs and recommend solutions.
Coordinate with engineering and project management for a clean handoff.

Must-Haves

Building automation or controls sales experience with a record of closing.
Ability to estimate controls scopes and write proposals.
Relationships in the Sacramento-area construction community.

Nice-to-Haves

Technical background as a controls technician or engineer.
Experience selling to public sector and institutional owners.

Compensation and Logistics

Competitive salary depending on experience, plus benefits. Based in the Sacramento area.
