Associate Health Actuary

Modelling and tools individual contributor. Closer to a modelling-heavy IC than an underwriting partner because the work serves internal planning and tools rather than live external deal negotiation. Associate Health Actuary role focused on Medicare Advantage pricing, valuation, strategic planning, and risk analysis. You'll build planning tools, analyze trends and legislation, support MA bids, and produce actuarial reports. The position is fully remote within the Continental US, with ET/CT preferred.

Must have:

2+ years of actuarial experience
ASA designation
Advanced Excel skills (arrays, PivotTables, VBA, queries)
SQL proficiency
SAS proficiency
Ability to leverage AI tools for actuarial analysis

Strongly preferred:

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
Healthcare and Medicare Advantage actuarial experience
Cost trend analysis experience
Actuarial tool development experience
