Project Manager - Data Centers

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-focused Project Manage r to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of large-scale, high-density data center construction projects. This role is responsible for managing construction activities from pre-construction through commissioning, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge of construction and commissioning processes, particularly within MEP and mission‑critical environments, combined with exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills. You will act as a key liaison between internal teams, contractors, consultants, and design partners to support the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities Manage projects from construction commencement through commissioning and final handover Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules while identifying critical path activities and mitigating risk Track project progress, resolve issues, and coordinate activities across contractors, consultants, engineering teams, and stakeholders Oversee site logistics, permitting, inspections, and overall construction readiness Monitor project budgets, forecasts, commitments, and cost‑to‑completion Review and approve change orders, payment applications, and contractor invoices Work closely with preconstruction and commercial teams to maintain financial accuracy throughout project delivery Act as the primary point of contact for general contractors, subcontractors, and key suppliers Lead regular project coordination meetings and monitor contractor performance Ensure all project partners meet schedule, quality, and safety expectations Perform regular site inspections to monitor installation quality, workmanship, and adherence to design standards Ensure compliance with applicable codes, safety regulations, and project requirements Support commissioning, testing, documentation, and final system turnover Maintain accurate project documentation, including meeting minutes, logs, RFI trackers, submittals Produce regular reports covering schedule, budget, risks, and project milestones Ensure all commissioning and closeout documentation is completed and organized Required Skills Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and project controls Extensive knowledge of MEP systems and mission‑critical construction Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Experience leading contractors and multidisciplinary projects Excellent problem‑solving and risk management capabilities Proficient with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar platforms Comfortable working in fast‑paced, high‑growth environments Experience & Qualifications 7–10+ years of construction project management experience, including at least 4 years delivering mission‑critical or data center projects Experience managing general contractors, subcontractors, and complex technical construction. Strong background delivering MEP‑intensive commercial, industrial, or mission‑critical facilities Proven experience managing schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, commissioning, and site coordination Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr Thor
