Job Summary

Suffolk Plastic Surgeons, PC is seeking a Part-Time licensed Massage Therapist to join our successful plastic surgery office. As a Massage Therapist, you will tailor massage treatments to your patients' individual needs and health goals. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in a variety of massage styles, possess a deep knowledge of human anatomy and the musculoskeletal system, and work well as part of a team

Responsibilities 

• Perform a variety of massage and body treatments
• Educate clients on the services and products offered, as well as the therapeutic benefits of regular massage therapy
• Maintain accurate records of each session using our practice management software.  The ability to use a tablet is required
• Build relationships with clients to assist them with meeting their wellness goals

Qualifications

• Hold current state license and liability insurance to practice massage therapy
• Must be capable of performing lymphatic (certification required) , deep tissue, Swedish, and maternity massage modalities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strongly service-oriented with an ability to communicate effectively with clients in a one-on-one setting
• High level of ethics and integrity.
