We are a warm, community-focused child care center looking for a Part-Time Assistant Teacher to join our team! This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about early childhood education, has a nurturing personality, and enjoys working in a collaborative environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Shifts: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM 3 to 5 days/week

• Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children
• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities based on our curriculum
• Support children's emotional, social, and cognitive development
• Maintain positive and professional communication with families and staff
• Assist in daily classroom routines and respond to children's needs
• Ensure compliance with all state regulations and center policies
• Be flexible and available to cover shifts when other teachers are on vacation

• Experience working with young children (preferred)
• Caring, patient, and compassionate personality
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Dependable and organized
• Flexibility in scheduling is a plus
• Commitment to fostering a positive and educational environment

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma (required)
• Preferred but not required - 2 years of experience in a childcare or early childhood education setting
• Strong communication skills (oral and written)
• Effective classroom management and organizational abilities
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic classroom environment
