The Information Security Auditor is responsible for conducting security inspections and audits of information systems to assess their vulnerability status and determine measures to strengthen their security. Depending on their scope of activity, an information security auditor may conduct audits at various levels, ensuring technical, operational, regulatory, and legal compliance.




RISK ANALYSIS: Manage the execution of on-site inspections (audits, penetration tests, architecture analyses)




STUDY AND RECOMMENDATIONS: Draft reports incorporating an analysis of identified vulnerabilities and technical/organizational recommendations Produce technical briefs on specific information security topics or broader subject areas




MONITORING: Maintain active, targeted monitoring of technological developments in these fields




TOOL DESIGN: Develop tools used for audits




AUDIT AND CONTROL*: Monitor the proper implementation of procedures Verify organizational security, Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Plans (DRP/BCP), Data Loss Prevention (DLP) measures, and compliance with standard requirements (e.g., PCI DSS) or specific frameworks Conduct configuration and code audits * This terminology is used interchangeably, depending on the specific organization of the company.
