PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENT: The successful candidate will be required to complete fingerprinting through an approved fingerprinting vendor and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, within 48 hours of offer acceptance.

POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for providing assistance in the daily preparation of the school lunch program. The Food Service Worker prepares and serves Clear Creek School District meals, including breakfast and lunch (hot and cold) in accordance with food and safety standards. The Food Service Worker develops and promotes good community relations among various community and school clientele.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Preparing food according to recipes.

Setting up serving lines.

Serving meals.

Cleaning and sanitizing, maintaining daily sanitation practices in the food preparation and serving areas, and dish room.

Operating cash register.

Performs other duties as requested.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING: High School Diploma/GED required.

EXPERIENCE: Less than one (1) year job related experience.


KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: Previous restaurant or food service experience required. Knowledge of commercial food preparation equipment preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing these job duties, the employee may be exposed to noise and temperature extremes.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Frequent lifting up to fifty (50) pounds. Repetitive bending, reaching, pulling and prolonged standing and walking. Eye/hand coordination for register and computer operation. Visual concentration on equipment.
