This position will: Enforce parking ordinances on foot, bicycle or by vehicle in the downtown central business district and throughout the City Issue citations for violations Assist with traffic control Meet with downtown merchants to hear concerns Provide professional customer service to the public This is a 40 hour workweek position with benefits. The proposed work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Minimum Qualifications: A High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of customer service or dispute resolution experience isrequired; some college-level coursework in criminal justice or a related field is preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essentialduties of the job.
