Our company continues to deliver record sales led by a talented team and a commitment to "Fun Served Here".ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment.Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.Install and maintain motors, sensors, drives, conveyors, gearboxes, and automated equipment.Use diagnostic tools such as multimeters, PLC interfaces, and motor testers.Follow GMP, HACCP, and other food safety protocols during all maintenance work.Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities using CMMS (e.g., UpKeep, SAP, or other platforms).Assist in equipment upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement projects.Respond to emergency breakdowns promptly and support production needs.Support cross-functional teams in maintaining high standards of equipment reliability and plant performance.Participate in safety meetings, training, and audits.COMPETENCIES:To perform this job successfully, the Electro-Mechanical Technician must be self-motivated, able to problem solve, detail-oriented, and able to stay on task. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Excellent organization and time management skills.Ability to analyze and evaluate situations and use independent judgment and initiative in taking appropriate action.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.Self-motivated, with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt well to change.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under pressure.Pay range: $29 - $38/hourEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational certification or associate degree preferred.Minimum 3 years of EMT experience in a food manufacturing environment a plus.Strong understanding of food safety practices (GMP, HACCP, SQF, etc.).Proven ability to work with 3-phase systems, VFDs, PLC-controlled equipment, and mechanical assemblies.Basic computer skills and familiarity with CMMS platforms.OSHA safety training or certificationFamiliarity with Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLCsBilingual (English/Spanish) is a plusLean Manufacturing or TPM experienceDisclaimer: This position description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the team member.
