Job Title: Machine Operator Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join our team on the 3rd Shift from Sunday to Thursday, working from 11pm to 7am. This position involves preparing tubes by removing excess burrs and ensuring product quality through visual inspection. The role requires operating tools such as handheld grinders and rotary files to deburr both the inner and outer diameters of tubes, ensuring they are straight before moving them to the next process.

• Deburr both the inner and outer diameters (I.D. and O.D.) of tubes using handheld grinders and rotary files.
• Ensure tubes are straight before passing them to the next process.
• Coordinate with inspectors and bundlers to manage tube flow and run bundles.
• Ensure proper tube length for customer specifications.

• Machine operation and mechanical skills.
• Experience in general labor and machine operating.
• Proficiency in grinding, hand tool use, fabrication, and welding.
• Ability to perform basic math functions such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Capability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
• Skill in reading and following written and verbal instructions.
• Problem-solving skills to work through practical challenges.
• Ability to work efficiently and deliver high-quality results on time.
• Ability to pass a forklift test from the safety department.

• Occasional ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with frequent lifting up to 10 pounds.

This position is based in a heavy industrial setting, requiring adherence to safety protocols and procedures. You will work with advanced tools and equipment during night shifts, ensuring product quality and efficiency.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Valley, NE.

The pay range for this position is $24.99 - $28.13/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
