How will you do it

  We are looking for skilled HVAC Technicians who have experience with air cooled and/or water-cooled chillers, Industrial chillers and boilers.

\n
• \n

  Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facility is running efficiently to include upselling opportunities.

• \n

  Must be a member or willing to join the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada, AFL-CIO.  

\n
• \n

  Be a dedicated member of a North America Branch team willing to learn and be responsible for startup, commissioning, and aftermarket services for this fast-growing business.

\n
• \n

  Practical working experience on air cooled and/or water-cooled chillers, industrial chillers, AHU’s or large roof top ducted units with strong HVAC/ mechanical troubleshooting experience.

\n
• \n

  Can lead large complex repairs, jobs or retrofits.

\n
• \n

  Able to repair centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, absorption chillers, screw chillers and/or ammonia / hydrocarbon system components

\n
• \n

  Maintain ammonia and hydrocarbon safety training certification.

\n
• \n

  Extensive experience in HVAC systems, (Chilled water loops, Pumping, Compressor enthalpy, Compressor trouble shooting and rebuild.

\n
• \n

  Mechanical shaft alignment using dial indicators, lasers, etc. of pumps, fans, Compressors.

\n
• \n

  Able to use vibration equipment to trouble shoot compressor drivelines.

\n
• \n

  Proficient in the operations, trouble shooting and repair of large tonnage chiller 460 vac VSD’s and medium voltage 4160 vac VSDs.

\n
• \n

  Proficient in multiple OEM chiller panels and controllers.

\n
• \n

  Able to trouble shoot industrial Allen Bradley control systems and adjust.

\n
• \n

  Travel maybe required 10% to 20% to support Branch Customers startup and commissioning activities as well as aftermarket service trouble shooting.

\n
• \n

  You will work with other local market mechanics and when necessary, provide on the job training and or will participate and be a leader in local relevant classroom training for other Technicians.

\n
• \n

  Able to provide quotes to customers and participate in JCI’s Service Plus Rewards program.

\n
• \n

  Universal EPA refrigerants license, applicable state or local licensing, and valid driver's license

Pay Range: $47.44 hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet. Benefits are provided through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement.
